ENJOY A BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR OF THE KIA OVAL
The Kia Oval Ground Tour is a fun and informative behind the scenes guided tour of one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues, the birthplace of modern English sport as home to the first football international in England (1870), the first rugby union international in England (1872), the first Test match in England (1880), the birthplace of the FA Cup (1872) and the birthplace of the Ashes (1882).
Overlooked by the world-famous Grade II listed gasholder, since 1845 the Duchy of Cornwall-owned ground has been home to Surrey County Cricket Club, current English county champions.
The tour will take you to the most exclusive areas of the ground, subject to availability, including the Committee Room, Long Room, Media and Broadcast Suites, Club Museum and the newly renovated Player Changing Area. The tour also offers the opportunity to take in sweeping panoramic views across the whole of London from the top of the JM Finn Stand and SSE Energy Solutions Stand.
Ground Tours
A Ground tour affords access to the most exclusive areas of the ground, subject to availability, including the Committee Room, Long Room, Media and Broadcast Suites, Club Museum and the newly renovated Player Changing Area. The tour also offers the opportunity to take in sweeping panoramic views across the whole of London from the top of the JM Finn Stand and SSE Energy Solutions Stand.
Matchday Ground Tour
A Matchday Ground tour allows you to see live match commentary in the Broadcast Suites and includes a matchday ticket so you can stay and watch the cricket. The tour also visits the Micky Stewart Members Pavilion including the Long Room, Club Museum and Honours Boards, as well as taking in the sweeping panoramic views across the whole of London from the top of the JM Finn Stand and SSE Energy Solutions Stand before leaving you to your own devices including the opportunity to walk on the outfield during breaks in play, subject to discretion of the Grounds Staff. Please note, this tour takes place on during Men’s County Championship and One Day Cup fixtures.
Matchday Afternoon Tea & Tour
Enjoy a spectacular day of cricket with us at the Kia Oval, a matchday tour of the ground, including seeing live commentary in the Broadcast Suite, before enjoying a first-class Afternoon Tea!
The tour also visits the Micky Stewart Members Pavilion including the Long Room, Club Museum and Honours Boards, as well as taking in the sweeping panoramic views across the whole of London from the top of the JM Finn Stand and SSE Energy Solutions Stand before leaving you to your own devices including the opportunity to walk on the outfield during breaks in play, subject to discretion of the Grounds Staff.
Your Afternoon Tea, upgraded for 2026 and prepared and catered for by our award-winning hospitality team, is in the exclusive Graham Thorpe room in the Micky Stewart Members Pavilion, overlooking the ground and Grade II listed gasholder.

Owned by the Duchy of Cornwall and home to Surrey Cricket Club since 1845, The Kia Oval is home to Surrey County Cricket Club, the current county champions. You can spend the day watching Surrey, take in a behind the scenes tour of the ground before enjoying a first-class Afternoon Tea!
The tour follows in the footsteps of cricketing greats with access to some of the most exclusive parts of the ground. Watched over by the world-famous Grade II listed Gasholder, you will discover amazing history in the Pavilion and spend time in the Club Museum. Spend time in the Broadcast and Media Suites, and see the commentary team at work. Take in panoramic views of London, from the JM Finn and SSE Energy Solutions Stand.
